Mother’s Day

‘Every child deserves a champion – an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection and insists that they become the best that they can possibly be.’
Rita Pierson

Our Toddler 2 room hosted a very important stay and play recently, a Mother’s Day celebration.

It was a huge success in every way with both parents and children enjoying a variety of different activities during the session. Some of the activities we had to offer included mark making with flowers and making playdough plant pots. The children were very excited to be able to share their experiences with their parents.

Having these monthly stay and plays allows us to ensure that our parent partnerships are effective, and provide extended periods of time to talk to parents about their children. They also help to give parents an insight into their children’s day.

The Early Years Foundation Stage Framework places a big emphasis on working together with parents and our stay and play sessions are just one of the ways in which we do this.
